The Grand Staircase, Part 1

This was the first actually warm day of spring here in SLC, and it was a glorious morning. The camera wasn't able to capture the petals falling from the trees -- a truly magical scene at the base of these stairs…





He climbed up…








and up…








and up…








and up! About two-thirds of the way up, he took a little break.

"Hi, leaves!"





"Five, six…"





"Pick up sticks!"





"Bye, stick!"





…and up he went again.








Little man casts a big shadow.
